What is the European Certification in Transactional Analysis (CTA)

Candidates for the Certified Transactional Analyst (C.T.A.) exam must:

Have completed 2000 (two thousand) minimum hours of training, broken down as follows:

  • 750 h (seven hundred and fifty) hours of work with the client, of which 500 (five hundred) must be in Transactional Analysis;
  • 600 h (six hundred) hours of professional training, of which 300 (three hundred) must be in Transactional Analysis;
  • 150 h (one hundred and fifty) hours of supervision
  • 500 h (five hundred) additional hours of professional development, to be chosen by the Principal Supervisor in accordance with national provisions.
